About the tournament
New emotions and achievements!
Open Astana Tango Cup 2023, the first open international Argentine tango tournament in Astana, will be held as part of the Astana Tango Festival on 21th of October in the luxurious ceremonial hall of the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Both amateur couples and Pro-Am couples (professional-amateur) can take part in the tournament.
This tournament is held in order to popularize Argentine tango in Kazakhstan. The stellar panel of judges, the current World Champions in the category "Stage Tango" Ricardo Astrada and Constanza Vieto (Argentina), as well as one of the most famous tango couples in the world, Gianpiero Galdi and Lorena Tarantino (Italy).
We are waiting for everyone to take part in the Tournament and become one of the Winners! All the winners of the Tournament with the First Prize places will perform at the Milonga on October 22.

Gianpiero and Lorena are unique Italian duo. Definitely a shining star of the new generation of the European tango. They’ve already reached the top by their hard work, technique development, and constant analyzing their methodology and movement. They are also famous for a very interesting original technique, especially accurate for analytical minds.
They are probably the youngest so well-known pair of maestros of European origin, and they are gonna be there for us during Astana Tango Festival!

We’re thrilled to announce that the World Champions of Tango 2022, Constanza Vieyto and Ricardo Astrada, will be coming to Astana Tango Festival in October 20−23.
During this 3 days of Festival, Constanza and Ricardo will be sharing their insights and expertise with participants in a series of workshops, covering topics such as technique, musicality, and connection.
Additionally, they will be showcasing their incredible talent on concert and on Tango Show Night which is not to be missed.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best in the world and take your tango skills to the next level, whether you’re a light intermediate or advanced tango dancer.

TDJ Нурлан Шарипов начал ставить музыку с 2019 года в трёх танго-клубах г. Алматы. Постоянный резидент независимой милонги «Диджонга Fresh» и «Milonga Del Alma». Его стиль — щедрость и мелодичность. Он не откладывает хорошую музыку на следующий раз, а ставит её сейчас. Он ищет танго во всех эпохах и во всех направлениях. Его плейлисты всегда наполняют душу особым танго — состоянием, которое долго не отпускает. В этом ему помогает музыкальное образование и тонкое понимание музыки.

Танго появилось в жизни в 2012 году и только через 2 года я начал танцевать на регулярных милонгах. 8 лет я был социальным танцором. Я посетил много удивительных танго-мероприятий по всему миру. Мне понравилось танцевать и слушать потрясающие музыкальные подборки известных танго-ди-джеев. Танго и танго-музыка стали важной частью моей жизни. В 2023 году я решил насладиться танго не только как танцор, но и как танго диджей. Я люблю создавать атмосферу радости и счастья. Я сделаю все возможное, чтобы создать отличное настроение на Astana Tango Festival.

Любовь Тибо к танго началась, когда он впервые услышал танго более 25 лет назад. Именно в тот момент, у него возникло чувство, что он не знает, когда, но однажды он будет танцевать танго. Тибо известен как художник, который формирует свое видение, делая фотографии на самых уважаемых танго-ивентах в Европе, однако его истинное искусство заключается в его страсти к танго в качестве танцора и ди-джея. Его длительные путешествия и нахождение в различных культурах углубило его понимание того, как разные танго сообщества реагируют на разные оркестры и разные периоды музыки танго. Его танго философия подчеркивается в его тандах, где он строит каждую как историю, создавая разные главы этой книги на протяжении милонги. Его любимые оркестры как для танцора — Pugliese, поднимающий сильные чувства Troilo и спокойное настроение Calo. Как ди-джей он любит все оркестры, поскольку они создают энергичную радугу, передавая все её цвета в танцевальные вечера.

Победитель XXXV международного конкурса в Италии «Castelfidardo Festival Internazionale della filarmonica» в категории «Piazzolla`s Music» (2010) и 49 Internationaler Akkordeonwettbewerb 2012 (Германия).
Единственный европейский танго-оркестр дважды номинированный на первую интернациональную танго премию в Аргентине «Premios Tango» (Буэнос-Айрес 2018 и 2019 годы). Solo Tango Orchestra выступает на лучших концертных площадках Европы: Берлинская, Филармония, Большой зал Московской консерватории, Концертный зал Чайковского, Московский Международный Дом Музыки, БКЗ Санкт-Петербург, Admiralpalast Берлин и т.д.
